The Jud Lau Surfboards logo is based on the waves and the surfboards, and the humans who make the boards, and also the humans who ride the boards on the waves! They are all in a circle, symbolic of the cyclical nature of everything in our universe. At first glance, most people do not see the surfboards, the humans, or the waves in the design. Most peoples eyes will focus on the reverse part of the image, but look long enough and you will see them!
Jud Lau Surfboards are all about super high quality craftsmanship and second to none customer service.
Feel free to simply pick one of our signature models, give us your height and weight, and let us dial in your volume and dimensions; or give us all of your exact specifications down to the last detail!
We can make anything you can imagine, and normally have it ready to ride in 3-5 weeks!

Born and raised on the island of Maui, Jud Lau continues to reside in paradise, immersed in the shaping and surfing lifestyle.
Jud began shaping in 2005. He hand shaped over 700 boards before learning to design on the computer using the Shape3D software and having the blanks milled at Nelson Factory's state fo the art CNC machine. Jud still meticulously inspects and finishes each board himself in his own shaping room.
Over the years he has shaped boards for many of the world's elite, including Dusty Payne, Makua Rothman, Kai Barger, Tom Dosland, Tai Vandyke, Ulu Napeahi, JD Irons, and Kawai Lindo.
